THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE REVOLUTIONS

• Many countries adopted liberalism and wrote constitutions

• Serfdom was abolished in many countries (east of Europe)

• The bourgeoisie gained the most from the liberalism revolutions--------> took the power

• The commoners were defeated and did not achieve the political and social transformation. But they did develop class consciousness and began to organise themselves (labour movement)
