He was a man who led the National Convention and he wanted to stamp out any opposition to the revolution. He was a member of the Jacobin club.

They were an organizations which made the new political ideas and alliances. This clubs were the Jacobin Club, the Cordeliers, the Feuillants Club, and the Pantheon Club.
7- What was the result of the French Revolution?
The result was the change of the social and political structure of France, for instance, the French monarchy disappeared.
